TERMS AND CONDITIONS

FOR HIRE OF HALL AND MEETING ROOMS FOR SOCIAL AND CORPORATE EVENTS

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, we will provide to you the selected venue/room, between the stated start and finish times, together with the agreed catering, beverages, staffing, and equipment as indicated on the contract.

DAMAGES AND CAUTION FEES

The client shall pay a caution fee of N100,000 against any damages or loss, this is fully refundable if there are no damages or loss. However, the amount required to remedy or replace any damages or loss will be borne by the client.

VENDORS

Music and entertainment will be allowed for the duration of the event; however, the music and entertainment music should be moderated in consideration of other hotel guests.

Decorators are also required to pay a refundable caution fee of N50,000 before decorating the hall. Decorators may not stick, nail, screw, staple or fix directly to the walls, doors or any other furniture.

CANCELLATION

Upon cancellation you may be required to pay a cancellation fee of 20% of the total venue and equipment hire charge.

FEES AND PAYMENT

The Citron Hotel reserve the right to request a deposit, with full payment of the total venue and equipment hire charge is required at least seven (7) days prior the event. Accepted payment methods are Bank Transfer or Bank Deposit (details to be provided on request).

TERMS OF USAGE

The Hall is open for usage for a period of 6 hours, with the event duration lasting no longer than the latest closing time of 8pm. The period of 6 hours may be extended at an additional charge of N50,000 per hour, but with the event to end no later than 8pm. The client will be allowed up to an hour at the end of their hired period to vacate their guests, vendors, equipment etc.

Food and drinks are to be provided by The Citron Hotel; however, the customer will be allowed to bring their own food and drinks, at a corkage charge of 25% of the price of the hall, a food court will be provided for serving purposes.

GENERAL

The Client is responsible for the conduct and behaviour of all attending their event. The Citron Hotel reserves the right to take actions to address misconducts.

The Citron Hotel accepts no responsibility for the property of persons attending the event. Vehicles and their contents are parked in the car park at their owners’ risk.

The Citron Hotel accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred thereto. Any property brought on to the premises or left in the car parks is done so entirely at the owner’s risk.

The Citron Hotel reserves the right to make use of photographs and other record of the event that take place in its halls for publicity purpose. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information provided. The Citron Hotel does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to amend any information at any time.

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party shall be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, terrorism, strike, lock out, industrial action, fire, flood, storm, or other event beyond the control of either party.
